everyone@universe.existence is a poem dramatically presented through music, speech and sound. As much performance art as a musical work. Marvin Bell, poet laureate of the State of Iowa, wrote the poem specially for this piece.
Commissioned by the National Flute Assotication for the 2003 Young Artist competition, the piece is accompanied by pre-recorded sound (the score is sent complet with CD). everyone@universe.existence is in turn exciting, lyrical, tender, commanding...and funny! A wonderful addition to recital programming.
